I spent the last weekend in Kansas with the women in my family. We get together annually for the Wild Women’s Weekend. It is always so great to see everyone. This year I got to meet my newest cousin Cooper. He is the baby of my cousin Ashley and her husband Chris. Boys are only allowed at Wild Women’s Weekend until they are 3 or 4 and then they stay home with their daddies. I was able to do a photo shoot with sweet baby Cooper before he headed home to Austin on Sunday. I just wanted to get a little sneak peak up. It might be a few days before I can get back to processing this shoot. There is a lot going on business wise. Good things. I just have to get some things finished and then I can come back to blogging regularly and processing my family’s shoots. For now here are the pictures I processed of Baby Cooper. Oh the baby hands and feet are just too much. Why is it they always make you melt from the tinniness and softness of them! Love him to bits and can not wait to see him again along with his Mama and Daddy.
This is my cousin Tyson, he is 6 and lives in Kansas. I visited him over Thanksgiving and I mentioned that he should come to the beach this summer with our cousin Becky (who is my age) and come to surf camp. Well he hasn’t stopped talking about coming to surf camp since. I am sure I am not his mama’s favorite person right now. Well the day after I told him to come to the beach house, he woke up talking about it. His mama said they might not be able to go and he told her it was ok if she didn’t go because he would just catch a ride with Beck and that Kate told him he could come. Well it has been weeks and he is still talking about it. His mama told him that he would have to talk to me about it, so he told her that I should just come to Christmas. Hopefully Tyson and his mama will come to the beach house this summer. If they do I will definitely pay for Tyson to go to surf camp. Heck I am going to go with him.
My Black Friday consisted of my arsenal of defense against this stupid cold. I leave for Colorado tomorrow to see a certain baby and I can’t be sick when I get to him. I haven’t seen Huck since Manhattan. I can’t wait to see him tomorrow. But then I went to my families for Supper and I got homemade Turkey Pie. It was awesome. So very awesome! People got to it before I could get a picture of it. I have learned in my family not to get in between them and their food. So I captured the already dived into turkey pie. Then I went shopping with the ladies into town and town you can see in my last post in the last picture I posted. I got a great sweater and a new purse. Well two new purses, I finally got a miche bag. I have been wanting to try these bags out and the bonus was it 30% off.
I am training for my first half marathon in VA beach in March. I started training with the couch to 5K program and I will do another post on how I used it and found it worked for me. Anyway with all my travel I am still trying to run and well I am getting there. So when I run in a different city I try and capture the beauty around me. New Orleans, LA: Ulysses, Kansas:
